LIPOSHELL® liposomes are similar to cell membranes in the human body, which makes them progressively biocompatible. This technology efficiently encapsulates the iron in the liposome, ensuring it is gentle on the gastrointestinal tract which helps reduce stomach upsets, constipation, an unpleasant metallic taste and other side effects that may be experienced with iron supplements. It effectively transports the iron to locations in the body where it is required – resulting in more iron being made available to the cells for optimal absorption.
